Dry Needling
In late summer, 2009, the OAAOM noted that the Physical Therapy Licensing Board approved the use of Dry Needling for Physical Therapists. Dry Needling is trigger point – or Ashi acupuncture. The OAAOM worked with the Oregon Medical Board and the Acupuncture Committee in an effort to have the approval reassessed. Progress is still being made in this area. Please keep up with current news.
