• To protect the scope of practice of AOM.
• To build a supportive community for AOM practitioners.
• To provide business support and legal reference for practitioners of AOM.
• To educate practitioners and to enhance their professional skills.
• To communicate and collaborate with other health care practitioners.
• To develop a relationship with the general public to raise AOM awareness and understanding.
• To be a leader in building and promoting the AOM profession.
