Letter from Director, Doug Dearth
Dear Acupuncture Professional;
I am excited to announce that “9000 Needles” will be screening during the Bend Film Festival, October 7th-10th. Screenings will be held in Bend, OR and nearby Sisters, OR.
This heart-felt and riveting documentary chronicles my brother’s search for a promising alternative to his stroke recovery. He travels to Tianjin, China where he participates in a stroke rehabilitation program, which uses acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to successfully treat stroke patients.
Due to overwhelming interest and support from the acupuncture community, previous festival screenings have been sold out. So if you would like to attend, I encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. I have attached a flyer with the screening times and dates. Please feel free to forward this to anyone you wish.
For tickets please visit:
http://www.bendfilm.org/2010-festival/tickets/
or call (541) 388-3378
The screenings are followed by a Q&A session, which always seems to be spirited, emotional and educational for all.
Also, if you do choose to attend, please introduce yourself to me before or after the screening. I would love to meet you! Please feel free to call with any questions: (310) 572-6027 and check out our website: http://www.9000needles.com
All My Best,
Doug Dearth
